FAQS, Homies.

Title
The easiest way to rent a home with Homie is to use the 'book now' function on the property listing. You will be redirected to our booking platform where you will be able to complete the booking process entirely online. If you have any issues please contact the Homie team.
We take a deposit of £99 per tenant. This is payable at the point you sign up to live in the house. You won't need to pay anything else until your first rental payment, which is due just before your tenancy starts.
We want to make your life as simple as possible, so we include all of your utility bills (gas, electricity, water, WiFi) in the rental figure that you see on the property listing. As long as all tenants are full time students, you will be exempt from paying council tax.
All Homie tenants are given access to our app, which is the best way to report a maintenance issue. In an emergency you can also contact us by phone.
We make some properties available to individuals or smaller groups who would like to live in a larger property with other students. Please look out for our 'room in a shared property' listings.
